something new, something old
From: mark roble I have been on hiatus from buying records, but I could no longer fight the primal urge that lies deep within my bowels <disgusting>. 1. Induceve "time to begin" classic this is my favorite label, and the newest indoctrination does not fail to disappoint. For me the "time to begin" and "on you" represent the label's bouncy techy sound as opposed to their jazzier stuff. 2. jay tripwire "do me this way" leaf - Wow, this is jay tripwire? Sounds a lot like a Dj Ali record and I mean that in a good way. Hard dubbed out beats with Alexander East's vocals sliced and diced in between, this is definitely gonna get some play. On the flip there is a bouncy number with a saxaphone, and le'ts not forget the acapella and saxapella. 3. tom bone "feel the rythm" Lil' mark of classic fame comes correct. Quirky and of course bouncy, listen to the crisp clean production and wonder how he does it. 4. moodlex "just one look" jamayka - I can't get enough of the eastcoast boogiemane remix. Poppy vocal with bumpin production. 5. T.M Juke "Maps from the Wilderness" on tru-thoughts. I love the tru thoughts label, quality downtempo/acid jazz/hip hop that reminds me of the golden age of Mo' Wax 6. the Limp Twins - I can't remember the name of this cd, but go out and get it. I've listened to the shit everyday for the past 2 months and I'm not even close to getting sick of it. For something old, I'm cleaning out my closet so to speak, so go to ebay and check out item# 4011916048 . I'm selling what many of you would consider classics, I didn't wanna clog the list with details, but feel free to hit me up. I have tons of shit that I haven't even put up. This is kind of a trial run for me. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at Yahoo!
