Welcome to the home website of the International TechHouse mailing list.

This list serves for the discussion of non-commercial house and techno-house music from all over the planet. It is the world's original and longest running techouse discussion forum.

The Tech-house list has been running continuously since March 1998, first at the Canadian techno.ca site, and now under its own banner. Comprising over 500 worldwide members, it is home to many DJ's, producers, label managers, and music lovers.

We strive to maintain a high level of signal-to-noise, and markedly intelligent discussion - all the latest releases, classic hard-to-find tracks, top labels and producers of the moment.

Jamie Anderson - Short Stories (Fixia)

Reviewed by Adam B - UK

Mr Anderson has been releasing his production work for years and you always expect a solid release from him and this ep on Fixia is no exception. On here is 4 tech house based tracks for your pleasure, we start off with "Back Then" a deep tech affair that flows through really well, good for those sets after 4am. "Open your Mind" is still similar in that its on the deep side, but it has added acid for kick that tweaks through out. The track "More or Less" has a very dark sound to it, still very good though, similar to the sounds that are emerging from Germany at the minute. I have saved the best for last "Food for Thought" the ep is worth buying for this track alone in my opinion, with its disco stylish beatz and piano (Inner City - Good Life) stabs it builds and builds, this tracks is very dance floor friendly and will stay in your record box for months to come!

Muzza is a hardworking bloke, with a string of releases out in the last year, most recently his excellent "Let It Rock" EP on Vancouver's Nordic Trax imprint, which features a stellar Gavin Froome rework. Not only that, but would you believe his 06 touring diary already includes GERMANY, GEORGIA, RUSSIA, FRANCE, UK, ARGENTINA, BRASIL, URUGUAY, CHILE, PERU, ECUADOR, BOLIVIA, PARAGUAY, COLUMBIA, and CANADA. Nice!

Having contributed arguably the THL lists most upfront and regular charts throughout 05, Muzz took a moment to give us his yearly rundown...
